These students needed help in their academics, the school officials invited Enrique to come & inspire them before a big test. They had to have good test scores in order to receive funding from the school system. Enrique says: “I couldn’t believe that this was a school in America. They had limited supplies and to top it off, they did not have a school bus. The students had to walk to school & home every day. I saw little girls pregnant, I saw a little girl pushing a stroller while having another baby on the way. I received countless letters after this event & the school was excited because the students scored well enough to receive funding.”
